Cal/OSHA’s emergency regulation requiring employers to protect workers from hazards associated with wildfire smoke became effective July 26, 2019.  CIRA has developed a Quick Sheet and model Wildfire Smoke Protection Program to help members understand the scope of the regulation and the workplaces that are affected by the regulation.
