Special events pose a unique risk to public agencies. These resources are designed to help members communicate with parties wishing to hold a special event at their locations. Once modified, these resources will provide guidelines for requesting event permits, obtaining insurance, entity requirements, application timing, and potential reasons for permit denial. In addition, parties that are in need of special event insurance can apply for it through the Alliant Special Event Program.
