Members

Our membership includes municipalities, fire districts, and special districts located across California, representing diverse communities—ranging from small to large, rural to urban, and contract to full-service. All members actively participate in proactive safety and loss control programs, unified by the common goals of reducing risk, minimizing losses, and controlling costs.

Each member appoints a representative to the Board of Directors, ensuring every member has a voice in guiding and managing the organization. Members collaborate to achieve shared goals, including minimizing loss exposures, expanding coverage, and ultimately reducing costs. CIRA’s Executive Committee consists of Board officers (President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Auditor/Controller) and ten members-at-large, representing both region and size.
